Each team is guaranteed 3 games. All games will be 35-minute halves.
Scoring:
- Six (6) points = WIN
- Three (3) points = TIE
- Zero (0) points = LOSS
- One (1) point for each Goal scored up to a maximum of three (3) per game.

- A 0-0 tie will be scored as 4 points for each team.
Tie Breaker:
Any tie in total points between teams at the end of pool play will be resolved in the following manner:
- The winner in head to head competition
- Fewest goals against
- Most goals scored up to a maximum of four (4) per game
- Most wins
- Most shut-outs
- Coin Toss
Home team:
The home team will be the team whose name appears first for each game on the game schedule. The home team will be required to wear dark jerseys as stated by CIF.
Tie matches:
(Semi-Final or Championship matches) If a semi-final or championship game ends in a tie at the end of regulation play, there will be a single 15-minute overtime with the first team scoring (golden goal) being deemed the winner. If that OT period ends in a tie, a winner will be determined by kicks from the spot (Penalty Kicks)
Shoot-out format:
Five (5) players from each team will be selected to take the penalty shots.
Any player on the roster may participate in the shoot-out even if she was not playing at the end of regulation.
Players red carded during the game or ineligible to play from a previous red card may not participate.
The teams will alternate taking shots. After 5 shots from each team, the team with the most goals will be declared winner.
Should the match remain tied, a “sudden death” shoot-out will take place with each team alternating turns until a winner is declared. At least ten (10) different players from each team must take a turn shooting before any player from a team can take a second penalty shot.
Coaching Conflicts:
In order to assist with scheduling conflicts, coaches with multiple teams participating must notify us in writing which teams they are coaching by the application deadline. The head coach needs to be listed as the head coach on the Got Soccer application. Del Norte Champions Cup will do its very best to accommodate coaching conflicts, but make no guarantees.
*An additional processing fee will be added to all credit and debit card payments. Please note, once your team has been accepted, refunds cannot be given. However, teams can petition for a refund via email to adrian@sdforcefc.com. The Tournament Directors will determine if adequate time was given to find a replacement team and if any administrative expenses have been incurred. Del Norte Champions Cup reserves the right to assess a $50 administrative fee should a refund be granted. No refunds will be given after November 27, 2022.
